The bad

Like a lot of these baby video monitors you can experience some interference from other electrical items. Often it is just a matter of rearranging the electrical items so that they are not too close to each other.

Zoom & Rotate the camera

This allows you to monitor your little one even when they have crawled to the other end of the crib. The zoom and pan feature is operated from the parent unit.

I’m a first time mom and so I have no previous experience with the older type baby monitors, but this was is seriously awesome. The quality of the video is very clear and even in the dark I can see my baby clearly via some type of cool infrared technology. The sound is also quite good but a biggy for me was Angelcare’s trademark ability to notify parents if there is no movement… that is fantastic. I found it very easy to setup and the monitor itself is really lightweight. I like how it comes with a little clip so you can clip it to your pants or skirt. Although this is a bit pricey compared to other monitors, I highly recommend this item for someone who is not on a strict budget and able to spend more on a state of the art baby video monitor.
